Every website we look after is its own small world. It has its own weather, its own moving parts, and its own quiet things that go wrong randomly.
We have built thousands of websites and have operated website maintenance plans for over a decade. During this time, we’ve learned to adapt and create tools to manage the ever-changing field of technology so that you can trust we will provide you with accurate upgrades and stats.
Moving into the new year we are introducing three updated plans. But first, here’s what actually happens behind the login screen of a website we are maintaining.
A Month in the Life of Your Website
Here’s what a normal month looks like on a site we maintain.

Local Support
Front Street Office, easy to reach and to talk to. We are always available by phone or email.

Security Monitoring
Bot login attempts and scans get stopped before they find anything.

Content Updates
Send us your content. We handle sizing, formatting, and getting it live.

Bugs Caught Early
Broken forms, dead links, images that stopped loading. We find them before your customers do.

Reporting
Monthly/weekly traffic and maintenance reports so you always know what’s happening.

Backups
Every site backed up automatically, and restorable. The one thing you never think about until you need it.

The People Behind Your World
When something goes wrong with your website, call us and you will be talking to a team member who is familiar with your site. Email us and it’s read by the same team, not a call centre or a bot that asks you to rephrase your question.
Stephan and Elsa are the two on the front lines of web support and new builds. Stephan handles bugs and onboarding. Elsa runs the monthly checks, tests the updates, and keeps everything current. Between them they know every site we look after, and one of them is always available when you need support.
Anna works on our initial site designs, while Yasmeen keeps track of our maintenance plan renewals and overall website project management.

We Will Take It From Here
This is the part most people don’t realize. We don’t need to have built your site in order for us to maintain it.
We look after WordPress, Wix and Squarespace sites. Some we built ourselves and others were built by developers who have long since moved on.
When a site comes to us from somewhere else, the first year is the heavy one. We audit what’s there, fix what’s broken, stabilize it, and get it running properly. That’s a one-time onboarding step, quoted at our studio rate once we have seen the site. After that the monthly plan takes over.
Got a site out there with nobody behind it? Send us the link. We’ll review it and tell you honestly what shape it’s in.

Our Maintenance Plans
We’ve been running maintenance plans for over a decade, learning as we go and adjusting as we take on more sites. We are now offering three updated plans, all priced based on our studio rate of $150 an hour, with an annual review to make sure you’re always on the plan that fits.
Charity Plan
$150/month
Built for non-profits. We cover the technical side: monthly updates, security monitoring, daily backups, bug fixes, and functional checks. Turnaround 2 to 3 business days.
Standard Plan
$250/month
Everything in the Charity Plan, plus content updates. Send us the text or images and we handle the rest. Turnaround 1 to 2 business days.
Premium Plan
$470/month
Everything in Standard and built for busier sites. We provide e-commerce support and priority turnaround, same or next business day. Managing more than one site? Additional sites are $200/month each.
Ready to take the next step?
If any of these services sound like a good fit for you or your business, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out with your project details and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. We can be reached by email: support@sjdworld.com or Phone: 295-7539.

Last Month’s Newsletter
July was packed. We’re welcoming back Elsa to the team. This month we’re also spotlighting a brand-new website build, a fresh voice over from Stephan, and one-of-a-kind prints from Ras Mykkal. And we couldn’t let this issue go by without celebrating Twenty Two Tulips one year anniversary and Thoughts Become Things, three years in and one year on YouTube.
