Good Day World,

April and May have been a lot two Telly Awards, a Webby weekend in NYC, and a brand new creative venture launching into the world. We are kicking things off with the shop then getting into the awards news. Let’s go!

We are exceted to announce the launch of Twenty Two Tulips, a print-on-demand shop created in partnership with our Senior Graphic Designer, Anna Dill, known creatively as Alice. After 15+ years designing at SJD World, this is Anna’s first fully personal creative venture, and every piece is hand-drawn by her.

The shop launches with two collections: Dinos, a playful illustrated dinosaur series and My Garden, a botanical collection inspired by nature and pattern. Products include apparel, accessories, phone cases, journals, and more.

We Won Two Telly Awards!!

We are incredibly proud to share that “Thoughts Become Things” has won two awards at the 47th Annual Telly Awards, a Gold Telly for Original Score and a People’s Telly Silver in General Film and Shorts. Two trophies. One six-minute Bermudian poetry film.

Established in 1979, the Telly Awards is one of the most respected awards in film and television, receiving over 13,000 entries from around the world. Past winners include CNN, NASA, HBO, Netflix, and the Smithsonian. To have “Thoughts Become Things” standing alongside that company is something we do not take lightly.

The Gold Telly belongs entirely to our music producer, Derek G. Simmons whose score has been the emotional heartbeat of this film from day one. This recognition confirms what we have always known. His work is world class.

The People’s Telly Silver belongs to everyone who voted, shared the link, and rallied behind this project. Thank you. These two wins bring our total award count to 13, across 22 international festival selections and 11 countries.

Webby Creator Weekend

On May 9th and 10th, 2026 I had the honour of attending Webby Creator Weekend in New York City, an invite-only two-day gathering of 500 plus Webby-recognised creators, platforms, and brands held during Webby Awards week. Set on the rooftop of the Elsie in Midtown Manhattan and presented by Adobe, the weekend brought together some of the most impactful voices in digital creativity for two days of panels, fireside chats, networking, brand activations, and genuine conversation.

Our invitation came as a result of Thoughts Become Things receiving two Webby recognitions at the 30th Annual Webby Awards, a Webby Honoree distinction in the Independent Short Film category and a Nomination in the Creators: Art, Culture and Music category.
