Good Day World,
The past few months have been extremely busy, with the Thoughts Become Thingspremiere on YouTube, a special screening at BUEI, the Graphic Design Showcase, and all of our usual day-to-day client work. So, we will keep this intro brief and dive right in.

New Mural Quote in the City
Have you passed the intersection of King Street and Victoria Street recently? If so you may have noticed the City of Hamilton’s latest mural quote, featuring words from our very own Stephan Johnstone.
It’s truly an honor to have Stephan’s words featured on such a prominent wall, sharing a message of positivity and inspiration with the community.
Interview with the Daily Hour
Stephan recently stopped by The Daily Hour and BEDC’s Vendor Fridays to share more about what we do here at SJD World—and the creative journey behind it all. He spoke about how our local and international teams work together seamlessly, with our team in India being nine hours ahead. This time zone difference allows us to keep projects moving around the clock, while the Bermuda team is working, the overseas team is resting, and vice versa. It is a continuous workflow that helps us stay agile and deliver faster for our clients. Click the button below to watch the full interview.
Final Screening Before Youtube Release Recap
On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, we hosted a milestone event at BUEI, the final public screening of Thoughts Become Things before its official release on YouTube. The evening featured the world premiere of our behind-the-scenes mini-documentary, Decoding Thoughts, giving audiences a deeper look into the creative process and cultural inspiration behind the film.
Since its online debut, the film has now reached over 2,600 views on YouTube, and continues to resonate with audiences both locally and around the world. Click the button below to watch the recap of this unforgettable night!
Graphic Design Showcase Recap
From July 25th to August 20th, 2025, the Graphic Design Showcase returned to the Bermuda Society of Arts (BSoA), bringing together incredible talent from across the island.
A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, partners, and participating designers who helped make this event possible. It is always an honor to be part of something that celebrates Bermuda’s design community and showcases the creativity of our local artists.

Thoughts Become Things Official Sound Track
We did not just create a short film—we crafted a full original soundtrack as a powerful audio extension of the award-winning Thoughts Become Things. The soundtrack captures the spirit, rhythm, and ancestral echoes that define the film’s narrative, offering a new way to experience its message.
Produced by Derek G and featuring performances by acclaimed Bermudian poets Stephan Johnstone, Yesha Townsend, and Ras Mykkal, the soundtrack blends cinematic composition with spoken word. It channels the energy of Bermuda’s Gombey traditions and the wisdom of those who came before us.
